“I was so lucky to find Jacqueline last minute when I needed her most. My partner was traveling for two days, and it was my first time alone with our newborn for a night. “I was very lucky to have Jacqueline as my doula for the birth of my daughter. Jacqueline is kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and calming. I was anxious about finding support for my labor and birth as a single mother by choice, and decided to find a doula late in my pregnancy. Jacqueline made me feel comfortable and validated right away. She understood the nuance of my situation and was confident and proactive in considering how she could best support me. She prepared a thorough birthing plan for me and created a summary version to share with the team at the hospital. I ended up going into labor early, before our second meeting.
