About Me

I received my Full Spectrum Doula (CFSD) certification from Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings in 2023, and I have been supporting families in this period of life for years. I was born and raised in the Boston area, and I am a certified full spectrum doula providing trauma informed, personalized doula care for all birthing people. As a doula, I believe my role is advocate for you, witness you as you are, and help show you your own power.

I was inspired to become a doula after many years of working in daycare and Montessori school settings, nannying, and working at a non-profit that provided free doula care to BIPOC people in Ithaca, New York. As I built relationships with families, I saw the lack of perinatal care and resources for new parents and decided I wanted to change that. I felt called to birth work specifically. I believe everyone deserves a doula, because everyone deserves an advocate in such a pivotal moment of their life. I want my clients to feel fully autonomous in their bodies throughout their birth experience. I feel called to make a difference for all birthing and postpartum people. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQ + parents, single parents, and first-time parents - but I am so happy and excited to serve all birthing people.

I am trained in Spinning Babies and have done extensive training and research on a variety of different coping methods to support labor. I work with clients to make sure they feel more connected, grounded, and balanced within their bodies, no matter what kind of birth they are hoping for.

I am also a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) and offer lactation counselor services. Whatever your feeding goals, I am happy to support you and help plan with you. I am working towards earning my IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification) and being able to further support families in their lactation journeys.

My experience is in doula care, infant day-care settings, non-profit work, and milk banking. Outside of doula care, I currently work at the Mother’s Milk Bank Northeast as a donor intake coordinator.

My long term goal is to have an impact on marginalized communities. I am always open to sliding scale payments as well for my clients.

Doula care is seen as a luxury to many people, because it has become more inaccessible. I aim to serve all families and parents, especially those that are not always able to get the care that they need. I am always very mindful of the various identities that I hold and my clients hold and keep those in mind as we get to know each other. I chose to train and certify with Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings because they are a Black and Queer led organization that aligns with my values of reproductive justice.
