About Me

I received my Full Spectrum Doula (CFSD) certification from Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings in 2023, and I have been supporting families in this period of life for years.

I was inspired to become a doula after many years of working in daycare and Montessori school settings and working at a non-profit that provided free doula care to BIPOC people in Ithaca, New York. As I built relationships with families, I saw the lack of perinatal care and resources for new parents and decided I wanted to change that. I feel called to make a difference for all birthing and postpartum people. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQ + people, single parents, and first-time parents - but I am so happy and excited to serve all birthing people.

I am trained in Spinning Babies and have done extensive training and research on a variety of different coping methods to support labor.

I am also a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) and offer lactation counselor services. I am also working towards earning my IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification) and being able to further support families in their lactation journeys.

My experience is in doula care, infant day-care settings, non-profit work, and milk banking. Outside of doula care, I currently work at the Mother’s Milk Bank Northeast as a donor intake specialist.

My long term goal is to have an impact on marginalized communities. I am always open to sliding scale payments as well for my clients.

Your care and comfort measures will be personalized for you. I love the moments when I am working with a family and I see that something clicks for them and they realize how amazing they are!

Doula care, especially support during the postpartum period, is seen as a luxury to many people, because it has become more inaccessible. I aim to serve all families and parents, especially those that are not always able to get the care that they need. I am always very mindful of the various identities that I hold and my clients hold and keep those in mind as we get to know each other. I chose to train and certify with Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings because they are a Black and Queer led organization that aligns with my values of reproductive justice.
